For my 8th grade graduation I decided to give sewing my own dress a shot and here it is!

There's 4 layers of fabric, 3 layers of this sheer gingham fabric, it's between sky blue and silver and in certain light it looks really shiny Cheesy the lining is just some blue fabric. Blue lace for halter straps and sashy thing.
Here are some pics I took from home

Every time I take a pic the straps on this thing are always askew ><

Thanks for looking!

1 accomplishment for another! For an 8th grade graduate your sewing skills are great. I like the color, it seems to go really well with your hair color. Grin

Congratulations on graduating, and Great job on the dress. Smiley

Wow,
8th grade.  Nice.
It's an amazing first formal dress no matter what the age.

Actually now that I think about it I see no reason why the average eight grader can't sew as good as anybody else.

Thank you so much for the compliments Smiley though I must say it was a pretty simply dress, the only thing I had trouble with was how darn wide it was and so it took forever to do pretty much each step. I am proud of it though and hope to have greater works in the future.
