Everything I have done and learned have been because of all the wonderful poppet makers here on craftster. The eyes were painted using Alwaysinspired's tutorial on how to make inserted eyes. She doesn't just show to insert them, she shows how she paints them...so thanks Alwaysinspired!!

I just used scrapbooking chalk in black and green and just used my fingers to rub into the eye area before adding the eyes. I always liked how Malibukasey made her eyes with the liner and tried using sharpie, and it looked nothing like hers. So I found if you cut out a cat eye shape slightly larger than the eyes in felt and add them to the back of the safety eyes...you get that awesome look!

I have had help and inspiration from Clonedbravo for the pantaloons, and the easy peasy dress pattern by Ghilie, and the corset pattern from Craftewoman...I hope I got the names right...if not I apologize. Also the boot tute from Eliea. It really has been a combined effort whether they realize it or not. So a HUGE thanks to everyone!!  Wink

Averyg...I never used clay until this poppet and the one for the swap, and I love the results...it makes it even more unique I think cuz we all seem to sculpt different noses.

She's super cute! Very Jim Henson-esque. I love how those long eyelashes make her look so sweet and demure even though her intentions might not be...

AWESOME! The eyes turned out soooo cool.  I'm in love with the goggles too.
This poppet looks like she could be a character in the book Boneshaker.
