i got so excited when i saw this pattern the other day that i just HAD to start one. and i had this lilly cotton yarn thats verigated and not really a normal chicken color. but so far im on row 29 and really happy with the color and the pattern...if only i could crochet faster. i'll try putting up a pic when i finish her. thanks for shareing the pattern

I just finished my chicken this morning...but with a modification. i added a strap cause i found out clutches arent easy to carry around and have an arm load of stuff too. lol. i REALLY wish i could share a pic but my camera isnt working  Sad

I love this project and I want to have its babies (eggs?)

I think I am going to try it from some nice white cotton (when I can find that delightful cotton) or maybe some bamboo/cotton blend, only I am thinking of modifying it to have handles in the body. We will see!

I am seriously going to have to make this, just so I can have people ask me "...Um...is your purse a chicken?"   Grin

Almost done with mine! It goes so fast. I'm thinking about putting a zipper in instead of having a flap and maybe making wings that double as outside pockets.
