So I got a camera a few months ago but didn't have a case for it, so I set out to make one of my own since camera bags can be costly.
I didn't follow any pattern, I just set out with a general idea of the shape needed and started crocheting. The body is done in single crochet worked in a spiral and the strap is afghan stitched. The fabric is from my stash and I used "fun foam" (found in the kid's craft section) for the padding and support.
The original plan was to stitch some flowers on it but as the project progressed, the more I wanted to see bicycles on it.

It comfortably holds the camera and two rolls of film.

Thanks for looking.  Smiley

I love how neat and sweet this looks. Practical and adorable, especially with the bicycles.

I'm sorry to be a noob but could you please explain how did you make the crochet part that bends over?
English is not my mother tongue so I'm not sure how to call it...  Embarrassed

The foam was cut smaller than the crochet work so I could pull it over the top and hide the foam edge. I don't know...does that make sense? Sometimes I'm not good at explaining things.
