I have  cut old jeans  on squares, then have sewed them together and have quilted  it. It seems nicely to me... Cheesy

That looks great did you use a backing on it to make it thicker?

I have been meaning to make a jeans rug so I can use it for outdoor picnics! Unfortunately, I don't have any sewing experience, and I have no idea how to attach the pieces (I am assuming I need a sewing machine).  Please advise me on how to go about making my own rug. Smiley

Thank you for comments, girls..

English is given to me hardly, however I will try to tell to you details. Grin

I used a tight woollen cloth as a batting and  cotton fabric with polyester for backing (it's more hard-wearing/wearproof ). If you are afraid of the rug will slip on a floor you can sew also small slices of corrugated rubber from a wrong side...

My rug is sewed as usual pieced quilt. At first I have collected jeans squares to strips, then have sewed those strips  together.
Look that I have found!
