That is awesome - fantastic job. I can also see it'd work well as a wedding - particularly for someone who has, say lost their parents, they could chose a marone (grey might be a bit sad) and do photos like that on the dress. Gorgeous.

Beautiful!
I really like the skirt and the lace (I don't know what's with me and wanting skirts with lace lately  Grin)

The end result is very nice, but I like it better in the second picture, when it's half white.

Great job! ^_^

This is gorgeous!!!! I think it looks wonderful even before it was finished, with the images just along the bottom going up the side and white on top. Beautiful!

Hey there,

This is so beautiful... ^^ I am in love with it. I was just wondering if you used a pattern or if you just made it yourself? I would really love a dress in that shape. =]

Your dress is fantastic! No other way to describe it.

I'm a bit curious though with the printing are you able to clean the fabric?

A very lovely dress and an ingenious idea to pint photos on it! I too would like to know if it is washable?

KytnMcNite:
Sorry I've been so long in replying! I sort of used a pattern ... I took the bodice from Butterick B4443, using either view A or B (they are more or less identical)
For the skirt I used a full length circle skirt, and just sewed the two together! Smiley

Kell78 and GreenTrunkDesigns:
To be perfectly honest, I don't know if it's washable or not  Embarrassed my printmaking tutor doesn't think so, but I might try printing some images onto scrap fabric and trying it out ... the thing is that it was always more of an art dress, so whether or not it would be washable once I was finished wasn't a thought that occurred to me!! If anyone does try it out, let me know! Smiley

Thanks to you all for commenting!  Cheesy

I'll tell you a tale of the bottomless blue
And it's hey to the starboard, heave ho
Look out, lad, a mermaid be waiting for you
