So..I wasn't going to post this but I'm really proud of it and worked really hard on it so I thought...what the heck!  It was for a swap with the wonderful puamelia in the mini poppet swap. She really liked  Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter..so this is MY interpretation of him.I'm just insanely proud of it!

I wish I took better pictures but there you have it.  Excuse Chelsea in the window (my dog)  She's wondering what the heck I'm doing.

thanks for taking a gander!

This rocks!!!  When I saw the little picture in the "Newest Posts" queue I could tell already that it was the Mad Hatter!  Great job on the sculpting and the clothes.  What did you use for the hair?

What did you use for the hair?

I used, I think it's called 'homespun' in a red color.   The homespun (I don't know what brand it its) always works sooo well for hair.

I'm really unsure about the crafting I do. I like what I do...but like on American Idol..some think they're the best singers in the world but eeee gads! and no one had the heart to tell them they stink.

Thank you sooo much for the encouragements!  Means a ton to me.  Smiley Craftster has the best crafty peeps in the world Wink Smiley

This is totally awesome! I knew right away who he was and I havn't even seen the movie! I am always so in awe of the crafters who make poppet dolls. It almost makes me want to learn to sew. If there was an American idol of crafting I would vote for this.

Homespun is a Lion brand yarn I believe. They have a ton at Joann and Michael's.

Your doggie is also adorable.
