OMG, I love this so much!  If my Stanley (chi) was still with us, he'd be in there all winter and never come out!  Your doggies are so adorable by the way.  I have a chihuahua pug now, but he's not a burrower.  Anyhow, great idea!  Love it!

I wrapped the ends of the wire hanger in electrical tape and did a row of sc around it to keep it in place, and it stays up if you bend it, but if sy it is hot your dog or cat can lay on top of it and it will lay flat, just the tapped ends will stick out
