I love, love, love the messenger bag. the font and color of the text, and the sparkly black fabric remind me of the very opening of the title screen for ocarina of time

Also, eco's package is already in BC! maybe it'll get there earlier than monday. (oh man oh man i've got some major swap anxiety this time around)

Friends! Romans! Craftsters! I have gotten my package, and lo and behold it is filled with awesome. Awesomely so awesome that I dare say it is the best swap I have ever recieved.

SO! The first thing I saw was this! I could see it through the Nintendo logo tissue paper (where did you even get that?? Cheesy) and thought it was a picture in a frame (which was something I thought/hoped could be done with this picture), but NO. It is more awesome than that. It is...

A TEA TRAY. Oh gosh, I list "anything tea!" as something I like on every questionnaire, and nobody has actually made me anything tea related yet! So this... this is amazing! It's painted (PAINTED! whoa art skills!) and got some nice finish on it so I can carry my teacups in style and not do my usual "well-they-only-cost-three-dollars" balancing act.  Wink For those of you who don't recognize it, it's the last panel of Niko's paper-cutout-Wind-Waker-summary from Phantom Hourglass. It's so perfect. The colors are so bright and lovely~!

And oh. OH. If that weren't awesome enough, the back is painted too.

Next! My goodness, I said I needed one, and...

A ZELDA APRON.  Grin Made out of a kitchen towel! How creative is that?? Anything that has no edges to hem is awesome in my book. The three pockets have the Spiritual Stones on them... and have correctly-colored teabags in each pocket!! Hilarious! (Green tea and Irish Breakfast (my favorite!) in the Emerald pocket, etc. etc...)

A tote bag made from another towel! Creative, and in my favorite colors! Huzzah! Then some yummy candy, and then... THEN... a grow-your-own Hooded Pitcher Plant kit. AKA a carnivorous plant. AKA Deku Babas!  Grin I cracked up for a GOOD five minutes at this.

I am super impressed with everything, and... just... Mouser, you really managed to incorporate EVERYTHING on my list. Even the card had a drawing of my favorite OoT manga picture! So much thought was put into this, thank you!!

...aaaand now I'm worried about my package, ahah. That's what happens when you get awesome stuff,  no?

Aaahh, BunnieBard! I had a tough evening today (my dad can be such a huge beyond belief pain sometimes! I'm not supposed to be responsible for him!) and it made it so much better to find out you liked everything so much!! I'm so glad! I found it so much easier to craft for this swap than for a lot of other ones, because I like the topic so much I think. And you gave me a lot of specifics to work with which makes things SO MUCH easier for me. So thank YOU for letting me make you cool things - I wanted to keep all of it!
I never like.. art painted anything before or did such complicated appliqu and I had so much fun doing it. Painting stuff is so much fun and doesn't feel the tiniest bit like doing work - so relaxing! Don't give me too much art-talent-credit, though, I had to search around to find carbon transfer paper to trace the picture onto that tray so I could paint in the lines Grin
The color coordinated tea was an accident - I pulled out some bags to send and then realized I had some of all three colors, so I couldn't not do it. The nintendo tissue paper was actually from the Nintendo World Store in NYC. I bought a Link mug there when we visited in May and they wrapped it up for me. When I joined this swap I knew it would be perfect to use in packaging.

Oops, I've written a little novel here. I'm really glad you liked everything BunnieBard - getting that response is definitely my favorite part of swapping. Smiley

I received a package from Ambermoony on Monday!

A lovely loom-beaded choker with a Twilight Princess pattern:

Four perler bead sprites: a fairy, the sword, a rupee, and a boss key! I'm putting these up on the wall at work.

And this wicked cool knitted scarf featuring the Sheikah symbol! I'm already looking forward to it being cold again.

Thanks so much for the awesome package, Ambermoony!

Great packages! The tea tray, scarf and choker are great!!  I think I actually have the towels that the apron is made out of! It is a very big and excellent dish towel too...it'll make for a great apron! Smiley  The sprites used in the perler bead crafts are really cool!

I received my package from crafty.stoner and was B.L.O.W.N. AWAY with how amazing everything was!  Actually, when I was getting ready to take pictures, I realized that there were more items in the box under some more tissue paper *lol*

the whole enchilada!

twilight princess box

tetra's charm

wind waker charm bracelet (notice the hyoi pear and messenger bag!)

stitch markers, felt makar key chair, and boko baba seed earings

pencil and small felt bags

reusable container filled with bath salts and link candy dispenser!
