Holy camoley, miss-katamari! Those are some epic colour combos!! It makes me think of sherbet and fruit smoothies Cheesy

Funkygranolatree: It's this stuff, and I looooove the way two strands have been variegated and then twisted together in opposite pattern (if ya get what I mean):

Being in Canada, it may not be practical for you to send me your yarn, though the sentiment is soooo sweet, and is one of the many reasons why I heart Craftster with every fibre of my being Cheesy

As a general comment, I'm amazed to see so much done already! It's only been a couple of days, and you're all such busy bees Cheesy Having run out of my boyfriend-blankie materials, I've been making use of my auction box-lot yarn, and making a ... baby blanket??? I guess, since it's all pastels and white Tongue I don't know anyone with a baby, though!

nice color combos, and progress pics... Cheesy

I will take some photos tomorrow of the progress: before I tell you what I shouldn't be doin'  I will let you know the bi***in' over sewing squares together is OveR!  I've done two rows today and the third will be done tomorrow!!  whoohoooo!  Then, I have a new direction I will post and get some opinion from ya'all(I can't wait to see my crochet buddy later this week....!!) And then, yes, I started a different project--from scraps and a given bit of yarn from a swap...so there you have it...I'm officially addicted to granny squares...I blame it on craftaddchick...she admits to bein' an enabler Roll Eyes

happy stitch'n ladies!!

Here are my squares from over the weekend

The dark blue in this one doesn't show very well it's much nicer in person

I bought this yarn Saturday ad it doesn't show the colour changes very well in the pic but  i think this is my new favourite colour Cheesy.
I'm loving everyone's work it all seems so much neater than mine *giggle*

Yes, I followed the instructions on this site. The cool thing about it is that you can crochet the hexagons together as you go - so no sewing together for me at the end!

Love all of the work!!  You guys have some beautiful squares and hexagons going!! Smiley

I have been crocheting over the weekend, but hadn't gotten to my laptop to post them. I'm trying to coordinate my colors with something from each day, so I can remember the day when I look at the square/afghan later. Smiley

The pictures are a little dark, I used my phone instead of my digital camera... I will have to take better pictures with better light later.

Here was July 3 - a purples/white mix:

July 4 - a patriotic mix:

July 5 - "Granny Stripes" in blues because my sweetie and I went to the beach today:

I love the idea of a journal/afghan.  I saw a similar project done as a quilt - one block a day.
