So, I've made a few rugs now for swaps, but none for myself!  Roll Eyes So last night I dug through my t-shirt yarn stash, and decided to make us a 4th of July Red White and Blue crochet rug for the kitchen. Now I need to make more for the rest of the year! The blue is a deep navy blue, so it comes off slightly black in the pics, but I swear it is blue! It is 42x30 inches.

And my foot for size reference!  Cheesy Grin

You must be a super crocheter!  It took me forever to make my little t-shirt rug! Cheesy

I think it turned out great...I love these rugs because they are a random pattern and they are so practical and functional!!

What size hook did you use and also, did you single or double crochet?  I can't really see...

one last thing:  so patriotic!!

It crochets up pretty fast using a Q hook! Next time I want to use a P hook to get the stitches a little closer together. But it is all single crochet.

Thanks for checking out my rug guys! My crafts are always so boring and functional, lol! Cheesy Its weird because thats the opposite of the type of person I am, but when it comes to crafting for myself, functional is all I ever seem to do. Roll Eyes

I am not creative with myself either...I seem to make only functional stuff for myself!!

Thanks for the hook sizes and type of crochet...I want to make another one as soon as I sort out my t-shirts--for some reason, I have a lot of gold/yellow t-shirts and that is my least favorite color!  Might make a cute rug, though...
