As quite a few of you know the “I <3 Gibbous” swap has been in progress for a few months… Now that the parcels have been sent, it's time for pictures! YAY!

The piece I made for this swap was for the beautiful Loukr, and it was inspired by the “Willow Gown” over at Gibbous (or course!) Here’s the link to the inspiration if anyone is interested You’ll have to scroll down the page a bit!  http://www.gibbousfashions.com/shop.php?inv=10

This dress took me about 2 solid months to complete, I had a few broken needles and a lot of coffee but other than that I had a great time making it! Now… Onto the pictures!

Here is a photo taken by Loukr of herself in the dress! If you click on the link it will take you to Imageshack where you can see it a bit bigger and in better quality! Also while you're there take a look at her other photography! She takes wondrous pictures that you would have to see to believe!

Here's a few shots from me, while it was resting on my wonky Duct tape dress form!

These last 3 pictures were also taken by Loukr! She got some really awesome detail shots!  Grin

This swap was so much fun!!! I will be keeping my eye out for a round 2!  Grin

Hope you all like it!

I like to explore abandonments and take pictures when I'm not crafting! Here's my blog!

Daaang, that is just crazy awesome! Such a labor of love -I don't know how you could bear to part with it (though it looks wonderful on Loukr)!

That is AMAZING! I love it! If I had as much patience as you, I'd definitely make something like that. But I don't have the patience, so I guess I'll have to admire yours! It's great!

I love the looks of these dresses, but...I can't get my head around how you MAKE them. Like...is there planning? Do you make a base and add things onto it? Or is it just throwing things onto it?

That dress is absolutely breathtaking.  It looks stunning on Loukr, and I really can't get my head around how much work went into it.  preg_replace('/(.{19})/', '$1 ', 'So...much...detail...') *swoons*
