I have always wanted to make a sock monkey, I love how they look, but I can never find any socks to use!!

I make cut-off shorts from my old jeans all the time, so I took the legs of those pants and made a monkey!!
He is pretty big, probably 3 1/2 feet from his head to his toes.

His necklace is made out of old scraps and two studded bag handles. I don't know if you can see it but his earrings are a old stud, a safety pin, and a blue headed pin that I bent into a hoop.

c&c's are welcome, thanks for looking!!

(p.s. what should I name him?)

Aww! I love him! Great job!  Smiley I think you should call him Nige, as in Nigel!  Cheesy The earings are a geart touch.
