I've been on holiday at my parents so I only got my package late last night when I got in - I love it all! Thank you so much mpemporium!

Here's the wonderful package I received from Bekibutton

Buttons GALORE!




A beautiful designer inspired bustle skirt sporting the union jack




Some beautiful little felt butterflies that becki laser cut herself after seeing how much I LOVE butterflies on my wists!


Ribbons and bias binding in my favourite colours


A cute little paper fan!


And lots of leaflets and brochures from her home town/area!

We agreed between us when we were first paired up that our towns weren't the most inspirational places for crafting based on where we lived.. (although I think now we've both sent, we've thought of loads of stuff we could've done!), so we did other little things, ie - union jack

I'm so happy with my package, thank you Bekibutton!

Wow Loukr, those buttons look yummy in your photos I love the photo of the fan too...I've just gone for the point-and-shoot option on these pics I'm afraid

I seriously have since thought of 101 things I could have done that are related to my local area, but I guess they'll just have to wait till next time! I was slightly frustrated at the lack of tourist-y things available where I live. 

Anyways I received from the wonderful Loukr and here are the pictures!

Package arrives - I tore it open in my excitement to find beautifully wrapped and rainbow coloured packages!



Once carefully unwrapped, I found:

A beautiful picture of Loukr's place of residence that she took herself:



BUTTONS! I've been wanting some military style buttons for a while, so these are absolutely perfect, and I'm already thinking that the clear vintage buttons are going to need their own special project



Lovely soaps:


A gorgeous and eminently useful bag from her Etsy shop and some flowers and leaves she pressed last year (the flowers are going to need their own project too):



Bunting! I love bunting, and this already has pride of place across the curtain rail in my bedroom



She also sent some chocolate buttons from my favourite chocolate shop Montezuma's, which has a shop in her city, but they didn't quite make it to being photographed! And of course the obligatory information leaflets along with a lovely postcard

Hope I haven't missed anything...Thanks Loukr for being an amazing swap partner for my first swap!

wow that bustle skirt is amazing!! i love the ragged touch to the union jack - it looks really designer. the colours are gorgeous too.

and the bunting!! im loving a bit of bunting at the mo - its reminds me of wartime britain. great packages, guys!!

Ooh, buttons are so cool - I have just inherited a load from my Grandmother, and I had great fun delving into them!
