right guys.....welcome to Glasgow!! 

Boycemachine sent me the most amazing package - i couldn't have asked for a better partner. everything she sent i've fallen in love with and already can't wait to use (and eat). on with the pics....which aren't great - i'm a crap photographer. so Boyce if you have better pics, please please post too 

the whole shebang:


irn bru box and traffic cone bookmark (my fave irn bru quote: "gimme irn-bru or i'll shuffle my nuts in front of your mother"


beautifully embroidered passport holder (which i've been thinking about making but didn't tell her - it's like fate!  ) in my fave colours, and brilliant needlebook with scottish flag in blue and pink (inside):

card, beautiful butterfly, and pics of cones on statues (these will be going in my book at uni for millinery inspiration)


me getting to the good stuff - tablet (is that the name?) the most sweet and moreish candy, come just at the right time at the start of my diet

I'm SO glad you liked it.

Tablet it is...it's made from sugar, butter and condensed milk...so you know it's healthy stuff.  I usually only make it at Christmas time on account of it being so addictive and crazy high in calories.  Though I am making it for wedding favours for a friend this summer.

I've just realised that I took no pics of any of the stuff I made.  I usually take pictures of everything I ever make...I guessin' I was on a sugar high from all the tablet that I was eating.

i can confirm that tablet is my new favourite thing. i can also predict that i will be needing to make alot of plus-sized dresses this summer  i ate some too soon before bed last night and couldnt sleep for hours. this shiz needs a curfew!!

i'll try take some better photos in better light (my apartment is crap for natural light) and send them to you

I received my first ever swap parcel today and it was awesome! A HUGE thank you to Stellou. I was so excited when the postman knocked on the door!

Unfortunately, it was just as I was leaving the house so I didn't take pics of everything before most of it got used! Here's what I got:

An awesome fish bag (which I think will become my beach bag but used today in the supermarket)
A Cow purse
Some Guernsey Chocs (half of which I've eaten already)
Guernsey Boozey Fudge
Some amazing sewing themed buttons
Shells
Three postcards (which now adorn my sewing station)
A Guernsy Pencil
and fishy stickers for my DD.

I did get some pics of the bag and purse and my DD using the stickers though! I just wish Wrexham had some more exciting stuff to offer! We're best know for the generous amount of pound shops...
