I got my parcel this morning! =]

These are all the pretties I got from my wonderful partner Holistic Knitter!



All together there was:
- A knitted wash cloth, with Welsh dragon. <3
- Four postcards all with photos of different castles near where she lives (I love castles)
- A cross stitch Daffodil pincushion (I've needed a pin cushion for ages!)
- Four recipes for: Picau ar y Maen (Welsh Cakes), Cacen Firth Llandudno (Fruit Cake), Cawl Cennin a Thatws (Leek and Potato Soup) and Caws Pob (Welsh Rarebit - which is being made ASAP!)
- Three postcards of local places (including where she lives - it's looks beautiful there) and a leaflet about Llechwedd Slate Caverns
- A pencil, rubber and a Welsh dragon slate coaster from the Llechwedd Caverns
- Welsh Dragon socks! (I love crazy coloured socks and dragons! <3)
- A little dragon toy.

wow i love the kingfisher - they've been my favourite bird since Fingermouse (anyone remember that??)

it's funny that everyone said how difficult it'd been to make things relevant to your hometown, cos all of these packages are amazing!

I remember fingermouse...just. lol There is a family of them in a RSPB reserve near me so...

Remember it??? No, I have to watch it since DH bought the DVD for the kids. The first time they saw it I had to make some Fingermice and scampis for weeks after that...before you ask DH also bought : Trumpton (Camberwick green and Chigley), Mr Ben, Bagpuss and Wacky races

Mr Ben!!! i used to dress up with my brother according to where Mr Ben would go. I also used to love Pigeon Street and Puddle Lane....oh no, I feel an old-school tv show afternoon coming on!!

I love kingfishers too, so Dee couldn't have chosen a better bird for the bag.
We often see them flying near the river in Betws y Coed (about 15 mins from where I live)
