right guys.....welcome to Glasgow!!  Cheesy

Boycemachine sent me the most amazing package - i couldn't have asked for a better partner. everything she sent i've fallen in love with and already can't wait to use (and eat). on with the pics....which aren't great - i'm a crap photographer. so Boyce if you have better pics, please please post too  Smiley

the whole shebang:

irn bru box and traffic cone bookmark (my fave irn bru quote: "gimme irn-bru or i'll shuffle my nuts in front of your mother"

beautifully embroidered passport holder (which i've been thinking about making but didn't tell her - it's like fate!  Cheesy ) in my fave colours, and brilliant needlebook with scottish flag in blue and pink (inside):

close-up (albeit blurry  Embarrassed ) of quote notecards (haha they're wicked)

card, beautiful butterfly, and pics of cones on statues (these will be going in my book at uni for millinery inspiration)

me getting to the good stuff - tablet (is that the name?) the most sweet and moreish candy, come just at the right time at the start of my diet

thanks so much!! i just hope mine's only half as good! x

I'm SO glad you liked it.

Tablet it is...it's made from sugar, butter and condensed milk...so you know it's healthy stuff.  I usually only make it at Christmas time on account of it being so addictive and crazy high in calories.  Though I am making it for wedding favours for a friend this summer.

I've just realised that I took no pics of any of the stuff I made.  I usually take pictures of everything I ever make...I guessin' I was on a sugar high from all the tablet that I was eating.   Grin

I received my first ever swap parcel today and it was awesome! A HUGE thank you to Stellou. I was so excited when the postman knocked on the door!

Unfortunately, it was just as I was leaving the house so I didn't take pics of everything before most of it got used! Here's what I got:

An awesome fish bag (which I think will become my beach bag but used today in the supermarket)
A Cow purse
Some Guernsey Chocs (half of which I've eaten already)
Guernsey Boozey Fudge
Some amazing sewing themed buttons
Shells
Three postcards (which now adorn my sewing station)
A Guernsy Pencil
and fishy stickers for my DD.

I did get some pics of the bag and purse and my DD using the stickers though! I just wish Wrexham had some more exciting stuff to offer! We're best know for the generous amount of pound shops...

The bag and purse.

A close up of my cow purse!

My DD creating her watery wonderland! She like the stickers so much she wanted to carry them around Asda.

Thanks again Stellou!

A big thanks to Dee / catchtheskies in Hertfordshire for the great package that arrived this morning.

Look what I got:

Lovely needle case and kingfisher project bag (I love nature and bird watching)
Three handy bookmarks of local places in Hertfordshire (I'm an avid reader and love visiting historical places)
and some yummy local marmalade (I'm a marmalade addict - how did you know!)
as well as lots of leaflets and info about walks, places to visit and wildlife.

Here's a close up of the pretty bookmarks

Thanks again Dee for being such a great partner ;0)

- A pencil, rubber and a Welsh dragon slate coaster from the Llechwedd Caverns
- Welsh Dragon socks! (I love crazy coloured socks and dragons! <3)
- A little dragon toy.

Hellooo!

Here's the wonderful package I received from Bekibutton Smiley

Buttons GALORE!

A beautiful designer inspired bustle skirt sporting the union jack Smiley

Some beautiful little felt butterflies that becki laser cut herself after seeing how much I LOVE butterflies on my wists!

Ribbons and bias binding in my favourite colours Smiley

A cute little paper fan!

And lots of leaflets and brochures from her home town/area!

We agreed between us when we were first paired up that our towns weren't the most inspirational places for crafting based on where we lived.. (although I think now we've both sent, we've thought of loads of stuff we could've done!), so we did other little things, ie - union jack Cheesy

I'm so happy with my package, thank you Bekibutton! Smiley

Wow Loukr, those buttons look yummy in your photos Cheesy I love the photo of the fan too...I've just gone for the point-and-shoot option on these pics I'm afraid Smiley

I seriously have since thought of 101 things I could have done that are related to my local area, but I guess they'll just have to wait till next time! I was slightly frustrated at the lack of tourist-y things available where I live.  Undecided

Anyways I received from the wonderful Loukr and here are the pictures!

Package arrives - I tore it open in my excitement to find beautifully wrapped and rainbow coloured packages!

Once carefully unwrapped, I found:

A beautiful picture of Loukr's place of residence that she took herself:

BUTTONS! I've been wanting some military style buttons for a while, so these are absolutely perfect, and I'm already thinking that the clear vintage buttons are going to need their own special project Smiley

Lovely soaps:

A gorgeous and eminently useful bag from her Etsy shop and some flowers and leaves she pressed last year (the flowers are going to need their own project too):

Bunting! I love bunting, and this already has pride of place across the curtain rail in my bedroom Smiley

She also sent some chocolate buttons from my favourite chocolate shop Montezuma's, which has a shop in her city, but they didn't quite make it to being photographed! And of course the obligatory information leaflets along with a lovely postcard Smiley

Hope I haven't missed anything...Thanks Loukr for being an amazing swap partner for my first swap!

Becki

PS Thanks stellou for liking the skirt  Kiss

Ooh, buttons are so cool - I have just inherited a load from my Grandmother, and I had great fun delving into them!

I love the photograph of the rooftops Smiley

Here are the awesome items that I received from lemonianta:

A bag in Coventry's football colours (which has been put to use already), and an elephant bookmark to go with it:

A close-up of the elephant:

A group shot of all the loot Smiley

I also received some postcards and a bracelet from lemonianta from Northern Ireland, but unfortunately I don't have a picture of them yet...

Thank you lemonianta for being such a wonderful swap partner Smiley

Wow - everything in the gallery is amazing, so creative! Smiley

I received from the lovely missdolly last week (I have been appalingly slow at getting pictures up, especially as I am so excited by my package - but sadly my life has mainly been spent at work - even the pictures are sneaked on my desk at work so I haven't had a chance to upload them until now).

Anyhow - missdolly completely spoiled me!

She sent me this cute little book bag (how she knew I love to read I am really not too sure!) And filled it with information and a couple of books about haunted Liverpool (I am saving these for when we go camping next as scary stories and camping is a bit of a tradition!)

In the books were these amazing bookmarks:

Which are already in use! Smiley Thank you!

And... yes, there is more...

All these lovely things  Grin mini bubble bath/shower gels, the most delicious smelling candles (strawberry and champagne - excellent combination) kitty collars - Titan and Quaffle (our two kitties were super happy to be thought of and they look very handsome in their new attire -though they would not let me get a picture to prove it!) Marbles - I did try to take a picture of them because they are beautiful, but it turns out I couldn't do them justice (they're in the little bag, and they came with a little accompanying book about Marbles) They are to represent the glass that is made local to where missdolly lives! Smiley And my husband has claimed them for his own!
Missdolly also included a few postcards - they're already up on my noticeboard and some worry dolls (they're on one of the postcards) - I have never had worry dolls before, though I have always admired them and I have been having quite a stressful time at work recently so these are totally in use!

But wait, there is even more! (Like I said, spoiled much?!)

The most giant sock monkey ever! He is amazing - in red and white which is the local rugby club colours. Love him and have named him Gerald. He is in pride of place on the shelves in my craft room.
Also - a big piece of material which has lots of different things, spider web, music etc sort of printed on in a sketched way - can't wait to make something with this!
A little zipper pouch and keyring which I have already put to good use to store all my work ID and keys Smiley (I feel so much more organised now). Missdolly made some cute glass-marble magnets (If you look super carefully they are in the picture Wink) which are holding things onto the filing cabinet in my office to brighten the place up a bit! Smiley
And finally, a lovely tote bag - I opened the parcel with a couple of my work colleagues (who were super impressed by everything) but they both said that the bag was very 'me' and I do absolutely love it! Have been carrying it around neatly folded and got green clubcard points in Tesco using it the other day!

Thank you so much missdolly - you have been awesome I love everything completely! Thank you!
