I'm a bit iffy about my scarf (pictures posted in the first post now!).  I'm hoping it starts looking better as it gets longer...

I'm doing crochet-on-the-double, and using the three-way tunisian technique on the colour side in hopes it'll look rainbow-y by the end.  We'll see, I guess...

I just started this tote (posted here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=379234.0) Since the pattern is in Finnish... I'm guessing a lot of it and using the few tips Rogneta posted about it. I am done with the bottom and it is the moment of truth to see if the pattern fits, since I can't find anywhere on the page how many stitches there are suppose to be around it. I even used Google translator to help. Well wish me luck! And if anyone has made this... any tips?? Thanks! I will try to post a pic of what I have so far later today...

EDIT...

So I did something wrong... I have 10 too many stitches.. and I don't know where I messed up... Anyone made this and can help me??

I WAS working on this:

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-pineapple-monokini
http://snugsmontreal.blogspot.com/2008/02/knock-off-bikini.html

AGHRRAGH! *other indecipherable noises*

This is the single most infuriating pattern I've ever used, mainly because I chose to do side-ties instead of closing it so I had to jerry-rig a pineapple motif that's similar-ish. Of course, this screwed up the bust measurement, which ended up TERRIBLE. And once I actually put it on my body, don't ya know the ARSE IS ENORMOUS. Which is astonishing, because my rear end is quite large. I need to frog the whole thing and start over again. THANKFULLY, I'm not an idiot and learn from my mistakes and I'll basically not even be using the pattern for my second try. I'm thinking I'll do a top-down-under-and-back, as opposed to this nonsense of front-bottom-to-back-bottom-to-around-to-upwards-to-top.

Thanks for the concept, Tracy, but that's about it.

If my version turns out successfully, I'll see about making a PDF of the pattern. Don't all hold your breath, though, I have 3 or 4 sewing projects, a dinosaur embroidery, and an antique rocking chair to work on Tongue

You guys amaze me with your projects!
This is what I've been working on, my friend is getting out of the air force in September, and we made a trip to the thrift stores the other day where she was awing over some granny square blankets, I think it may have been a hint.. lol! Luckily I had just started this last week(happened to be her fav colors too, fate!!), and September gives me plenty of time to weave all the ends.

Stop the presses!!!

fantasticmio isn't working on any crochet projects!

Warning! Warning!

Heehee... ok, it's not entirely true; I in fact have at least 50 projects on the go, but nothing really new or interesting to show for the WIPW thread.  (Although... if I do start something today, you will all be the first to know!)

So! What are you working on?  First person to post a picture gets to be the thread thumbnail! lol

LOL! I have no new crochet work, either! I haven't even frogged that @#^$ pineapple monokini yet. I've been focusing on sewing projects and did a little more work on my Rodarte-inspired knitting.

It's Work In Progress Wednesday!  Post and tell us what you're up to with your crochet. ^_^

I'm still making endless numbers of mittens.  Here's the start of a cuff:

Your turn! What are you making?
