Oh wow....that is just so beautiful.  Seriously, I wish I had that dress at my prom.  It's truly just gorgeous!  Worth every minute of your suffering..  Cheesy  Being a texture/fiber art person, I'm in love with the bodice details!  Can't say enough good things and I cant wait to see more of your artistic creations!

This is amazing! If you don't win then perhaps the judges need to visit the optometrist....

I've never seen a dress like that before.  It's absolutely gorgeous!  Did you need to sew in any boning/extra support or did the layers of chiffon + yarn stitching make it stiff enough to hold its shape?  I know you mentioned it was a corset top but I'm not sure if that just refers to the shaping and back lacing.  Whatever the construction is, the bodice is molded into the PERFECT shape.  I would be so surprised and disappointed if you didn't win because this dress is so unique, beautiful, and technically excellent (not to mention the fit on you is spot-on).

Have you worn it to prom yet?  I bet all the girls were/will be soooooo jealous! Grin

Thanks you guys! Rinoa1024, I did make a bodice out of a couple of layers of canvas and then two layers of outer lining. I must say that I had a lot of help from various craftster tutorials on corset making!  Wink
