Who's ready for another round of Mini Art Quilt swappage? If you haven't joined before, this swap is for one mini art quilt, which is one large item time-wise. The size constraints are that all sides need to be between 12 and 24 inches (ish) So, it could be 12 inches square, or an 18 inch circle, or 15 inches by 24 inches, something that fits in there.

In past rounds we've matched partners up by skill level, which I think we will continue to do. Also, we've listed 5 themes we would like our mini quilt to be made from, with an extra question that asks if you definitely want one of your five themes, or if you give your partner the freedom to stalk your wists and posts and possibly find something else they would like to make that you would enjoy receiving. This covers both those that like to work with something a specific idea and those that are more livin' on the edge

Please let me know if you have any ideas for changing/adding to what we've done in previous rounds.

Proposed dates:

Sign-ups: July1-July 15
Partners Assigned: July 16
Sendouts: September 7.
This gives just over 6 weeks of crafting, which should definitely be sufficient. Any more and I think we start to slack off

Hmmm...I'll have to give this one some thought. The craft time overlaps with the first month of the new school year and I'm always wiped out for the first 2-3 weeks. Maybe if I can get my quilt done before August. Must think...

 I am so excited and clearing my schedule on this one I have been tweaking my skills and have really started going on a limb and really expanding my quilting due to the last swap...I am so excited!!

I don't really enjoy making large-scale quilts, but art quilts are great fun. I can't wait to get started.
