Yay! This is a great project to work on if you are new to quilting! However, if you're new to sewing as well, I would recommend waiting until you build your skills a little.

I do embroidery and hand-sewing. I've used a sewing machine some and I'm not GREAT at it, but I'm functional. Cheesy

Note for partners: I have gauged ears, so classic earrings don't really work for me. Smiley

Awesome! I wasn't speaking specifically to you, just general guidelines Wink Everyone can rank themselves as beginner, intermediate, or expert quilters when they turn in their sign-ups Cheesy

I've been wanting to do this swap for a long time. Now I hope I can participate when it comes around. We have some financial constraints in our house for the next month or so.

Oooooh.  Oooooh!  I'd love to do an art quilt.  I've never done a quilt before, but I can sew, so *rubs hands together*.

I so want in!  And this means I should practice. Cheesy  This is going to be FUN!

I never missed one before, and I didn't want to miss one again. This is my absolute favourite swap! But there is just so much going on right now in my life and it's only gonna snowball the closer September gets!

97 days until my flight to Nepal! I'm excited!

I hope there's another mini art quilt swap in the new year. Hopefully I'll get to see the gallery when I get back!
