I made this bag for my RAAR grr ugggh partner in the Be RAAR grr ugggh unicorn zombie apocalypse. She received so I thought I'd share it here Smiley.

I used this pile of flesh, http://www.etsy.com/listing/43067947/felted-stained-glass-fan-bag-pile of flesh, lambs pride for the black bits and Noro for the colored shell parts.

This project was really fun except for the yarn ends. Since each fan (and the black that surrounds it) is picked up and knit separately, you wind up with TONS of ends. I cheated and tied most of them off since I knew I was going to line the bag.

I eat the way the bottom of the bag comes together.

Here are a couple of in-process shots. I hope the yarn ends don't give anyone nightmares!!

Thank you so much for looking!!

Ok, I just had to wist this, and I also rocked it.  Wish I could felt!  Now, can you felt crochet?  I've only made a few items knitting, so most of my stuff is crochet and was wondering if it's got to be tightly woven like knitted.

Oh thank you!

You know, I've never actually tried to felt crochet but I know it can be done. I've seen it before and it looks virtually the same as something that has been knit and then felted.

I found this link with some tips for crochet felting. I hope you give it a go. It's really fun!

Wow that is beautiful! I eat the bottom. I don't blame you for cheating, you had a ton of ends.
