should i use a personal picture on my profile on etsy or should i use a picture of one of my pieces??

I like when sellers either use a photo of themselves or an image that matches their shop banner (I like matching sets of graphics Cheesy).  I think it's totally a personal preference sort of thing, though! Smiley

I think it's pretty cool when sellers use a personal photo of themselves. Since the only time one would really see an avi is on the forums, it makes it a little more personable. Smiley

Your shop is adorable and your picture looks great.

I too like it when a seller puts their personal picture up. It's nice to see who you are buying from. That said, many people, like myself, have issues with their appearance. So I don't mind a pet picture or a picture of their art/crafting either.

I love seeing a pic of you, but if you have absolutely stunning product photos (which most people have) then one of those works for me too!

A picture of the seller.

Sometimes buyers feel more comfortable if they can actually see who they're buying from. It makes you seem more real I guess instead of just a random something on the net.
