I have a question about the register form for joining etsy.
I'm thinking about selling (I've already got a name, photo to use in the banner, idea's on what to sell and everything).
It might be a simple question, and I'm sorry for opening a topic just for this,
but if I'm going to do it, I'd better do it right.

What I wanna know is if your first and last name should be your real first and last name,
or if they should be the same as your username? Also, could you tell me how your first and last name would show up on etsy? Only in your profile, or anywhere else? Thanks a lot!

I checked out my etsy account before I replied to you, just to make sure...I put in my real name as the first and last name, and whatever username I wanted.  They don't have to match, but they do want your real info because they ask about credit card information and want it to be accurate.  Etsy accounts are sort of like signing up for an email account (or Craftster), since they keep personal info on you but not where everyone has access to it.  There is an option to put your real name on your account in the public profile, but it isn't mandatory.
SO...put your real name, then whatever username you want.  That's what everyone will go by.

You should use your real last and first name.
