This is fantastic! Ive been wanting to get into embroidering but dont know how to start  Embarrassed What kind of stitch are you using here? also, what stitch do you perfer to use when filling in?

To get started in embroidery I'd recommend these 2 books: Sublime Stitching: Hundreds of Hip Embroidery Patterns and How-to  by Jenny Hart & Doodle-Stitching: Fresh & Fun Embroidery for Beginners by Aimee Ray.
I used a variety of stitches on this ...but mainly back stitching & split stitching. For filling in, satin stiching is good!  Wink

Embroidery is so fun & not too expensive to start! I hope you try it out & love it!

Thank you! I'm really in love with this one. The best part about doing a swap like this is that it gets you to craft outside the comfort zone & try new things! I probably wouldn't have thought to stitch a geisha otherwise.  Smiley
