I'm game - I've actually had Jacques on my 'to do list' for awhile!  And goodness knows I have TONS of other Amigurumi bookmarked...  maybe this will motivate me!

I'm in. I'd like to have some cloth toys for my son and the turtle is so cute!

Am so glad both of you have decided to join in! I've already started with Jacques. I'm struggling a bit with his legs because I'm using a 000 crochet needle with DK wool, so his legs are very small and it's fiddly to crochet. Am going to go and buy a bigger crocheting needle for my next ami though...

I made mine quite a bit bigger since I have no yarn for smaller than 4mm hook and I'm trying to use my odds and ends before I buy. I'd post a picture but my DH and daughter decided to play catch with him and he's missing atm. My DD loved him so much so requested one of her own so I'm hoping to improve. Since it's for an infant I didn't use buttons I tried to use yellow yarn and make X eyes. He looks a little unbalanced.

I'm sorry that I missed out on this one. I think I might give it a go anyway. This project looks like a good way to use up a bit of leftover yarn.
