I still can't decide what my favourite strip is!  Oh well... I suppose I'll just have to keep reading.  Oh, the hardship!  Tongue

I was happy to find a couple more questionnaires in my inbox today, so I'll be adding those to the list. I'm getting excited! And thanks to everyone for being so patient waiting for this swap to start -- I have no doubt that it will be awesome!

EDIT: I should have asked this at the beginning, but in case we have an odd number, would anyone mind doing a round-robin? Should I take volunteers, or is everyone okay with me just picking? I'll be trying my best to match everyone based on interests, skills and what everyone is hoping for. Smiley

I just realised this swap is still open!  Undecided

That means if I try and get organised I could join... I'm a bit nervous about the idea of 5 points though. And my books are all at my house in the US Sad

We'd be happy to have you! And you only need to do one medium or a large -- the rest can be some little things. Sign-ups are open until Monday if you change your mind. Smiley Plus it would give you a break from all your organizing awesomeness.

Found a couple more interesting links that people might want to look at. The first is about Calvin and Hobbes merchandise that was released, interviews he did and illustrations that he did for them. It starts to be an interesting read when they talk about the strip that was only published in half of the newspapers.

http://www.platypuscomix.net/otherpeople/watterson.html

Here we have someone made of incredible amounts of win and awesomeness, because here you can find every single strip of Calvin and Hobbes from November 1989 to December 1995.

http://www.marcellosendos.ch/comics/ch/index.html

And to go along with that is the Calvin and Hobbes strip search, which will tell you the date and description of the comic you're looking for. You can then go to the site above and pull it up. (I think I mentioned this site before, but it works better if you have the previous site to go with it)

AAANND since everyone's a fan of the snowmen comics, here's a fun site about taking the admiration to the next level -- actual snowmen based on the C&H strips.

Thanks again everyone for being so patient and waiting for partners. It's appreciated, believe me!

Tee hee! I love the real life snowmen. And seeing the rare merchandise was cool- I knew there was very little, but I thought there might be a little more! Thanks for more fun links!!

This isn't a Waterson drawing, but I thought it was sweet anyway.

Oh I looooove that poster! I totally agree! I love seeing my kids in the clothes and playing with the toys our families saved from my and my DH's childhood. We even have some items that have been handed through 3 or 4 generations! This poster makes me think about the ONLY thing I didn't like about Toy Story 3. I won't say any more for those of you who haven't seen it yet! But you should, ASAP!!!  Grin

I want to see it this weekend. I heard it is heartbreaking and adorable.
