Can I block/stop receiving notifications about new posts from a specific member?

I'm very sorry if this has been answered before so if you'll throw me in the right direction I'd be most appreciative!
I have asked for notifications on a few boards for when new topics are posted.
However, there is a member who posts things that are NOT bad, wrong, offensive but (for personal reasons) I'd like to -not- see such items.
Is there a way I can still get notifications from the board but "block" posts made by this user?
Very very many thanks in advance!
