So, there has been a lot of inquiries about how I stitched the braids on Maude in the Lebowski piece.  I ended up doing a tutorial on my blog, so I thought I would post it on here too. 

Don't be intimidated, it's much easier than it looks!

Jaquie, you rock so freaking hard!  I never would have thought to do braids that way.  It's perfect, and your instructions are so clear. 

Also, I love that Needlecrafter Senorita you're doing the braids on...I've wanted to stitch her for a long time!

You're very welcome! I'm glad it was easy to follow, I'm sort of new to the whole tutorial thing.  Knowing how my brain works (haphazardly) I thought I would miss something.

Oh, I did forget to mention that I usually use a few different colors in the hair.  Just thread them all into the same needle.
