Hi again,

RAVASZAG

Zounds. Who could pronounce it? Do you want to be personally cool or do you want people to remember the name of your business? Maybe if you took the S out and went with RavaZag or something, but still...

Hey, all. Geektoys, wanted to say I really like the name Wicked Wonders, and ask about opinions for my shop.

My work is really all about color and energy. Things have a very energetic, youthful, urban and funky feel to them. Going in that vein I was thinking of calling the shop/brand either Live Outside the Lines or Color Outside the Lines, or Color outside the Box, something like that. I know those are all really long, though, and usually shorter is better for this kind of thing. I'm trying to think of how to convey the intent behind what I make as succinctly as possible. Thoughts?

I concur, crafty chef  Tongue

I think I was in an interesting mood when I came up with this epiphony  Roll Eyes

However, I do believe I found a great word to say really loud, like a cry of triumph,  when I finish a really cool project or meet some kind of goal or something!

 Shocked RRRRRRAVASZAAAAAG!!!!!  heehee Shocked

But... yea... etsy site........not so much.

Thanks for being honest crafty chef!!

Now, back to the drawing board.  Any suggestions??

Wow, not alot of traffic in this thread.  I'm going to try another one, though, and see what anyone thinks.

I like to try to put letters backwards or in different order to see what comes up and I think I found something.  For my drawing and photography, how about:

Tra'la

??

Tra is art backwards and 'ala' means with as in 'ala mode' for ice cream - and I love ice cream.  heehee  Plus I like the whimsical-ness of it.

I have another idea along the same lines - it's a play on words instead of putting anything backward:

Ala-art

I like the "ala-cart" idea because alot of what I do is individual and doesn't necessarily go together, just like what that phrase means.
Any opinions?

Thanks in advance

I like Ala-art, that sounds cool and it's easy to remember and pronounce.

I'm calling my reconstructed/recycled clothes shop FrankenClothes, because I rip up the clothes and then sew them together as something different...like Frankenstein =)
What do you think?

Thank you!  I like it too

And FrankenClothes is great!  It made me chuckle out loud then I asked my 22 yr old son what he thought and he smiled and nodded his head and said ..."niiiice".

Got any pics??

Thanks! I'm glad you like the name!

that's too bad that your names are taken... =(
I hope you think of something else...one that I thought of is Art A La Carte...I don't know if it's taken or maybe you don't like it, but I thought I'd mention it...

I do have pics of my stuff, I'll post a couple, they can pretty much all be found in the reconstructed clothing board:
my barack the vote shirt:

dinosaur dress:

seersucker miniskirt:

anyway, hope you like them, and thanks again for the positive feedback on my name!
Good luck finding a name for your business!
