We had a great time in the Gypsy Swap and there were people asking about a Round 2, even before Round 1 sign-ups ended! So in the next round, Signups are until this Saturday, June 19th and the send out date is July 23rd. You will be responsible for completing one of the following package requirements:

1. 1 LARGE and 2 SMALLS  
-or-
2. 1 LARGE and 1 MEDIUM

-with the option to do more, but that is entirely up to you and your partner.

Please send only items that relate the theme in some way unless they are "extras" to spoil your partner. If you are outside of the USA, I require a scan or legible photo of your receipt or customs form to prove that you have sent if you do not purchase a tracking number. I encourage all participants to post in this thread or send me a PM at least on a weekly basis.

This swap's theme is the mysterious and often misunderstood world of the gypsies. Your crafts can range from costume pieces and exotic jewelery to treasures that look like they were brought from distant lands. Let your creative mind wander as far as the sand dunes to the East and as long as the Silk Road.

Oh, this is SO cruel! I'm going to have to choose between this and Samsara's Hippy Swap! I just can't fit two like this into the month of July, so it'll have to be one or the other.

One the one hand, I have a book of Gypsy crafts I've been dying to try, but on the other hand I have a wacky tie-dye kit I've been dying (dyeing?) to use.

What should I do?

Is it wrong to join a swap just because you've decided to redecorate your bedroom in a Gypsy caravan theme? Hmmmm.
I'm going to give myself a little time to think about it and then most likely sign up.
