I had been hanging onto this last empty bottle of laundry detergent for a fun craft project and I finally got around to doing something with it.



I decided to make it into a watering can, but I wanted it to be cuter.  So clearly, I first gave it a good rinsing.  Then I used that blue painters tape and cut out a floral type design.



Then I gave it a good spraying with some brown spray paint.  



I decided not to paint the blue top because it was a nice color to begin with and gives a nice contrast.  I just used a hammer and nail to puncture holes into the top.



I like the part on the back that shows how much liquid is in it, so I saved that.



And it actually works rather well!
