Hello Smiley

This is my first post on here in a looonng time. Hopefully the first of many since I think I've caught some kindof creative fever these last couple of weeks.

My boyfriend and I just moved from a small, dirty, yucky apartment in the city to a huge, gorgeous townhouse with a yard. Well.. not so gorgeous yet, but it will be. Needless to say I'm totally sick of all our old stuff, most of what we have has been handed down to us or just things we've managed to collect over the years and most of it isn't really our style. We're both artists so it just makes sense that we should have a fancy, art-filled place to live. Makes sense to me anyway. -_-

So, without further ado, I bring you my first of many fancy furniture recons;

Before: Ugly stained bureau given to us by our old neighbors years ago

And it's ugly drawers. For some reason I didn't take a picture of it with the drawers in it. Probably cause it was hideous.

Buut after;

Zebra awesomeness. I probably should have waited to take a picture with it in the room it belongs in.. but I'm excited and I can't wait. Smiley Not too bad for my first time painting anything other than walls, eh?

But I must say, none of this could've been done without my boyfriend, who helped paint all the black, and Daisy, my other partner in crime/craft who lovingly rolled around in the grass while we painted..

Thanks for looking Smiley

This is awesome. Looks fantastic!  Smiley

I'm getting ready to go on a marathon of furniture painting myself. Having never done it before, I'm hoping my results will be, at least, half as good as yours!
