I ran to the ragshop for a zipper and came home with glass beads!  I made this with purple wire and crimped little gold beads on each side of the glass beads to hold them in place.

That's gorgeous. Is the wire actually, "wirey" as in, does it hold shape? or is it more like tigertail stuff?

       That looks really great.  What do you mean by "crimped" beads?  Did you pinch them with jewelry pliers so that they wouldn't slide along the wire?  Great job!
