Back in 2002 a friend asked me to paint wall murals for her pet store in Marshfield, WI.  So for 4 months I worked on weekends to paint these murals.

I sketched out all the designs first and then her huband set up scaffolding and away I went!  The murals were painted with acrylic craft paints and the front window was stenciled in and painted using acrylic glass paints.

This was a labor of love and it broke my heart two years later when my friend closed her doors and the landlord painted over.

Wow, it must have been a great pet store!  It's a good thing you got pictures of everything, and too bad that the store closed.

You did a great job on the detail!

Where did all this fabric come from? I CAN'T have bought THAT much!
