I made this for my Grandma for her 80th Birthday last year. It was my first ever quilt and I now know better on how to do it. But I think it turned out ok.
I know if you can tell from the picture but its my grandma and grandpa (he past away last year) and then all their children with their families around them. The pictures, I made into apples hanging from the tree. And in the corner of the quilt, I embroidered "Holmes Family Tree", her name and made by me. Her favorite color is purple! She loves purple everything!
She choked up when she opened it up and that made all the hard work so worth it! I love her *<3 She is the best person I know. I wish I wouldv'e taken I picture of us together!

I shouldv'e ironed it before the pictures were taken! Cheesy

Thanks for looking! Any and all comments would be appreciated!

Thank you very much! I hope it will hold up long enough to be passed down. It was my first quilt and I don't think I quilted it down in enough places  Undecided

How cool!  that gives me an idea for a possible Christmas gift for my parents - I may try to make a quilt with all the grandkids' pictures on it . . . hmmmmm.

Great idea!!  I'm glad your grandmother liked it so well!
