This lap quilt was made for my SIL for a christmas present last year, using vintage fabrics and Amy Butler's loosely interpreted instructions. They were not as fool-proof as she would lead you to believe. I used a thick batting and hand-tied the top.

It looks gorgeous! As much as I admire Amy Butler's patterns (or, you know, finished items made from her patterns) I think they are very difficult to follow. Way to work through it!
