Love the quilt and admire your handywork. I would definitely not have the patience for that.
I did attempt something similar, many years ago, for a baby complete with pockets containing allsorts of crazy things, and it was the first and the last I'm afraid. It went down well but once was enough.

I love this! Maybe I need to break out my never-been-used walking foot and try this!

Great idea! I would have never thought of quilting with towels, but now that I've seen it I have to try it for myself, I'm spending a lot of time at the beach this year and this would be just perfect. Thanks for the inspiration.  Smiley

Your pink/yellow choices look very well together, I'm sure it's going to be just as beautiful as the first one.

I would never have thought to use towels for a quilt! What an awesome idea! You have done a beautiful job and I love your color scheme. I bet it will keep you warm during colder weather too! Beautiful!

This is the most perfect gift idea for my kiddos' godfather.  He is a consumate shell collector; hand him a shell, and he will give you English and Latin names, and tell you where it came from.

The boys and I are going to pick out towels and make a faboooosh towel quilt for our shell collector!!! Wink
