ooh I'm loving the set!  The shoes are sooo cool!  Very subtle and a nice suprise with the No Face Face hehe.  And a Totoro hook case.. as a crocheter I'm jealous!

I finally sent today, and AmiAmour's package came (though I am on vacation, so I won't get it until Monday). Anticipation x 2!

I received from Ethertree and omygosh I could not have had a better swap partner!  I absolutely love everything she sent.  And now for the photos.

Here's everything as a set.


An origami Totoro with a special note in it for me!  Where did you get the origami pattern for it, ethertree?  I want to make it myself!


And I squealed when I saw these.  Black Sootball with Candy Star Earrings!  I wore them right away!


My favorite of all the crafts she sent (and it's hard to choose!), but the Totoro doll.  I'm not sure what material it's made from but wood and handpainted?  The expression is so perfect!  I bow to her painting skills!


And the Totoro has a surprise!  It's actually a nesting doll.  Take the top half off and there's another Totoro underneath, this time, blue!


But wait... there's more!  Here's the white Totoro hiding within the Blue Totoro!


And here they are as a threesome set - so absolutely adorable.  I will treasure them and they are going in my crochet studio!


And finally a Bath Token... but wait, it was a wrapper! 


So what's underneath the wrapper?  It's Oatmeal Soap that smells so fragant and nice!


Finally, the whole set once again.  You can also see the Kodama head made from paper pulp (I'm thinking this is similar to papier mache?).  When you shake it, it makes a rattling sound too!


I had so much fun making and receiving the items.  Thank you so much, ethertree.  It was such an honor to be your swapping partner!  My first craft swapping experience more than blew me away and now I think I may be addicted to craft swaps!

My partner shadowbox's package came last Friday but I have been so busy.

She made me a cute Totoro Box and a Gigi cat photo album:

She also sent some candy and a feather head band that my SIL took since they were not vegan.....Thanks!

This is what I said yesterday. Then my computer ran out of juice, and I had to wait until tonight for a power cord. SO, without ANY further ado, AmiAmour's awesome swap package!
(Still with webcam photos - they came out pretty good, so I decided to keep them).


First up we have AmiAmour's classic (glow in the dark!) kodama ami. I was really hoping she'd send one of these! ^ ^



Next up, and probably my favorite, is No Face from Spirited Away. Note the proffered bath token. Did I mention she created ALL of these patterns herself? (!!!!!)

And I even got extras! (Yummy Korean snacks). I was floored. The card in the middle is a super-nice note from AmiAmour cataloging everything and thanking me for being her partner.
(Incidentally, the cataloging turned out to be very important - the package was damaged in the mail and had to be re-wrapped. Thank you for your thoughtfulness!)

. . . is not registering. Huh?
I hope this isn't permanent

You could try searching "origami totoro" in Google though - I think I saw some other sites that had the same pattern.

OMG!!!  Those are amazing! I love all of them but I would've never thought of making Yubaba's Baby that turns into a mouse like that!!! Awesome!!!!
