This was my practice one, to get the sizing right, good thing too, because the top of the back needed 4" taken out of it.  I like it, but does it look too much like it was made from a sheet to wear?  By the time summer get here (Southern Hemisphere) there will probably be heaps of similar prints at the fabric store, and I won't have paid $15/m for them.  Hubby says it doesn't look like a sheet, and it didn't in the mirror, but now looking at the photo's I think it does, just a bit, or is that only because I know that it was?  I also used a self cover button, I am not totally happy with the zip, there were no invisible ones, and I have never been the successful with the regular kind.
Thanks for looking.  Smiley

It doesn't look like a sheet at all, it looks great!  I don't know where you are, but big florals are all the rage for summer here in the UK, so it's right in style as well!  I have always liked those types of colours, I think it's a fantastic summer dress.  I'd probably wear white shoes with it though.  Just personal preference.  White sandals would look great with it!  I'm hitting "this rocks"  Smiley

It is gorgeous!  It doesn't look like a sheet to me, and if I saw a sheet that looked like that I would buy it right away to make clothes with!  Cheesy
