After seeing me sewing so much for myself recently, my little girl decided she wanted something, so this is what I came up with for her - a pair of Capri pants (I originally made her cargo shorts, the same as her brothers, but she wouldn't wear them as she said they were "too baggy").



I didn't attempt in any way to match the pattern on the fabric, although by some random chance, it looks as if I almost have!

They're flat fronted (my first attempt at this) with elastic only in the back, fit great once they're on her, but it's a real struggle and a wiggle to get them up and over her hips (and she's only 5!!!).  I think I'm going to unpick and sew some kind of pocket in the side to rectify this.
