My friends found this chair on the side of the road and I volunteered to fix it up. We didn't want to spend any money on it, so I used metal flake vinyl from my stash. It was purchased as remnants, I didn't have enough to do it in one or even two colors, so I went ahead and did it in three!

And a closeup of the seat:

I do not enjoy sewing curves with glitter vinyl. It would have been way more of a headache if I didn't have my Teflon foot. I'm not thrilled with my work, I've done way better with non-vinyl, but it was a good learning experience.
Thanks for looking!

I don't know why you aren't thrilled with your work, great job

I love it and I'm not even that big on glitter.

Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.

Thank you!

I guess I'm not thrilled because I followed my standard re-upholstery technique but I didn't get my standard results. I usually work in stripes, just because it's so easy to line everything up nicely. Perfectionism is paralyzing, and I'm trying to make things and give them away (as opposed to hiding them) even though they're not perfect.

I think I'll get a chance to give it back to my friends today, we'll see what they say!
