I had to make an outfit for the brother of the little gal that will be getting the Dora twirly skirt I posted earlier so he wouldn't feel left out.  He loves Mario and I just happen to have a Mario/Zelda sheet I picked up a long time ago and never used.  I want to say, I will NEVER EVER EVER use a stupid pattern for little people pants or shorts! What the heck??? I only used it bc I wanted to just cut out the Mario parts of the sheet, otherwise, I would just use the super quick two piece cut out yourself method. I don't even want to discuss how I jacked it all up.  Let's just say a 30 min job turned into a 2 1/2 job.  Angry  Anywho, I think they are pretty cute.  The kids I made them for are opposite of mine so after having my boy model Dora, I'm had my daughter model Mario.  Grin  Oh well, right?  They don't care.  They could be modeling old lady's orthopedic shoes and would be happy about it as long as they are getting attention.

Cayoot! I love that your kids will model 'opposite sex' clothes for you. I want to make some girly kid stuff but my nephews refuse to be my dummies!

I sometimes dream of glorious fabrics only to wake, run to to my stash, and realize it's time for a trip to the fabric store...

It's too bad those were such a pain, because they are great shorts.
