I'm not even sure! I started making the first one in the summer, it took a while to come up with the actual way to make it - trial and error... and then the actual construction of all of the layers themselves... and then the time it took to glue them all together (with contact cement, you have to let it dry for an hour before sticking it together...and i would put two layers of glue on to make it extra sturdy!)... and then after making the first one, I made a second one.  It took a very long time!  But totally worth it - it looks great in our room!  Smiley
