Thanks everyone, for understanding.
I guess it's up to us to support eachother.
I made sure to comment on every post that had zero comments that I could find today.
If people are trying to connect by sharing, it only seems fair.
I can understand that it would be hard to comment on every single item, but I'm going to make sure that I respond to several every time I log onto the site.
Hugs,
Kat

You've made an awesome effort so far - you've made nearly 70 posts and have only been a member a few weeks. Well done Smiley

I think that there are a lot of people who just look, and don't even have an account. Like right now: 879 Guests and 186 Users! I know that I also go back to threads I've posted in a few times when there are new replies, and that will bump up the count. It doesn't help sometimes when I've looked at a post, but had a toddler based emergency & then forget about it until later. It's not just here either, most of the other forums I got to are like this. Keep on posting!

Cute! I keep meaning to make a new purse and one of these organizers.. I *literally* rummage. (And if there is more room in my purse, then there's room for my knitting!)

Good luck and happy times with the new sewing machine! <3

Thanks, Lilaboo.
I was at Fabric Land today, and one of the sales ladies  noticed it; she asked me to take it out so she could show the other lady.  They're going to make some too.
I'm going to sew some velcro on mine so it will close.

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

This is really cute, I bookmarked it.  I have an organizer from the container store but the color leaves something to be desired.

I understand that completely - I don't have a full time toddler or a job at the moment, and my health is not great so one of the ways I keep my mind active and socialised is to frequent forums so that's why I make an effort to post because it helps me as much as it does the person's thread I'm posting on.

I'm so excited for you Kat, it's lovely when people pull you up to tell you what a good job you've done, isnt it?

Yes, especially since I'm just starting out and can barely sew a straight seam, lol.
I simply can't believe how much I'm loving sewing.  I am still dreaming of it, which must be weird, lol.

Lol no I dream about it too - and it's amazing how awesomely good the projects are in my dreams and then I attempt in reality and it's never quite as good. Clearly my subconscious is far more experienced than I am!
I can't sew straight either, or even cut straight, but what I love about sewing is even if you stuff it up, it doesn't take much to either pull it apart or alter it to make it look like you totally intended that mistake lol.

These are so cute!  I am currently carrying around a very floppy purse but it's big and I love the color.  An organizer would be perfect.  But I'll wait cause next month at the ASG meeting, we're making a purse organizer!
Thanks so much for posting your photos and the link! !
