Ok, love the giraffe AND the french knot pouch!  My new favorite colors are a combination of orange, pink, and blue!  French knots are so fun to make, and making them a filler and outliner creates gorgeousness!

That giraffe is really adorable.   Cheesy

I RECEIVED today!  I'm so excited!  Camelama made me some awesome bags.  Yes I said bags

The fabric made it really hard to get a good picture but I tried.  Undecided

First up - the honest to goodness 4 inch item.  Shiny green bag with an awesome fairy with spikey, sparkley purple hair.

She said the fairy was wonky *loco* so she went me a wonderful celtic tree of life.

The colors really don't turn out that well on here.  Silly flash distorting everything.  *sigh*  Roll Eyes

Cheesy  Thank you Camelama!  These bags rock!!  Cheesy

It really is astonishingly difficult to photograph the purple and green satiny silky stuff, eh Frrogg?! None of my pictures came out really good except for a closeup of the tree.

and EEP, I thought I got all the embroidery hoop lines out of the fabric!!! Man, I ironed those things forever - guess they needed more!  Roll Eyes  Grin

Slingmomma -- are those all french knots? *maybe I should put on my glasses*

Ok, love the giraffe AND the french knot pouch!  My new favorite colors are a combination of orange, pink, and blue!  French knots are so fun to make, and making them a filler and outliner creates gorgeousness!

Not sure if you two were talking about Slingmommas travel case or my yellow pouch, or both perhaps? Wink  Anywho, mine has a few french knots but not too many, but I noticed the purple flowery things in the close up look rather like french knots, they're actually just opened up lazy daisies. Wink

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Cheesy I'm glad my first swap package turned out ok!

Also maybe you can try scanning those pouches, if you have one, may turn out better results.  Either way they're both beautiful, all that metallic thread and a difficult fabric!  Beautiful stitching. Cheesy

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.
