Camelama received today!   Cheesy  I can't post pictures currently because my internet is craptastic and it tries to disconnect every time I try to load pictures onto facebook.  Sorry!   Undecided  But Camelama said she'd post some tonight if she gets a chance!  Grin  I'm really glad you liked your package!

Woo hoo!  I received from Ffroggums!

What a great OTET you sent, little missie.

So last week I was doing this:

And I came home from those voyages to find this OTET waiting for me:

Oh my jibbooms and bobstays!

Look at that gorgeous compass rose, the shiny gold thread, and the swirly wirlies!  Isn't that stunning?!

It's the lid of a nifty little round box, which she painted with the lyrics to "Nautical Wheelers" by Jimmy Buffett.

And it's dance with me, dance with me, Nautical Wheelers
Take me to stars that you know
Come on and dance with me, dance with me, Nautical Wheelers
I want so badly to go

Ffroggums, it's splendiferous!  It's so perfect for me! It fits in perfectly to my living room, with the charts and maps and knots etc:

and the stars and sailor's hats I collect:

She also sent a little extra, these seaside buttons:

Drool drool drool - I can't wait to use the sparkly starfish!   Grin

WOW Ffrogg. I mean, just ... WOW.  Smiley

It's gorgeous.  Thank you so much! I love it.  Kiss  Kiss Kiss

That is freakin' fabulous!!!  Shocked   Absolutely fabulous! love the details. I hate metalic thread, I can't believe she used so much of it!!! So wonderful!  Great work Frogg, Lucky you Camelama!  both for getting that fabulous box, and for going sailing in a real sail boat!

Thanks everyone for the compliments.  *blush*  The metallic thread I used is actually regular floss with a strand of something my Mom used to use when she was doing a lot of cross stitch.  The name of it starts with a K and I can't remember it for the life of me.  I didn't have a whole lot of trouble working with it and I'm kinda excited to work with it again.  Mom has a whole container of it in lots of colors just sitting around waiting for someone to love it and use it...  HERE I AM!   Wink

I'm very envious that camelama gets to go sailing!  Not that I'd know what to do but...  I wanna go.  Wink

I kind of want to change my craftster name to Ffroggums.   Cheesy  I like that!

I"m really glad you liked it camelama!  The hubby had to watch me finish it so now he wants a big celtic cross that I got the pattern for from Urban Threads.   Roll Eyes

Everything in the gallery is looking great!  I love that goldfish that's embroidered on the blue silk - very pretty!

I sent out to my partner yesterday - hope it doesn't take too long since I'm shipping internationaly!
