Note for partners: I have gauged ears, so classic earrings don't really work for me. Smiley

Here is the lovely fish that swam my way from jemimah.

Wonderful wool flannel pages for all my needles. I've never found wool flannel here, but it is soft.  Smiley
Here is a close-up of the embroidery. She said the fabric was from her mom's stash, most likely a vintage silk.  She satin-stitched in single thread, brave woman.  Color is more accurate in the first picture though.  Thanks jemimah!

That is absolutely gorgeous. The colors look amazing together. Was that a pattern or did you freehand it?

I Smurf it very much! Grin

Jemimah said that she couldn't find a goldfish that was quite right, so she freehanded him. Wink

Are you asking about Mr Fish? (So many gorgeous things in this gallery, can't assume!)

Mr Fish was completely freehand (I looked at a lot of different pictures, but he is not taken from one picture). His tail and fins were stitched separately on organza, then lightly stitched down. I think I will post more about him in Needlework (I'm quite proud of him, I must admit  Smiley )

So glad you like him, Goldfishpollywog!

This is a great gallery. Pretty coaster, love Brainy smurf  Cheesy , and very cute Mario things and jar!
