Starting over after negative feedback

Hi I could do with some advice. I was a regular poster and swapper, also friend of Craftster, but I went though a very bad time with illness and marriage breakdown, and could not complete a few swaps, hence I received justified neg feedback.  It's been a couple of years now and I have the all clear health wise and taking crafting back up. I would love to start swapping again, but worried my neg feedback will prevent me doing so.  Would my fellow crafters be willing to give me another chance or could I prove myself by being an angel? love to hear peoples thoughts x

I had the same problem. My life was kind of falling apart for a while and I wasn't able to complete a swap. Now that everything is back together, I'm really hoping to get back in to everything. Good luck with getting started again!

In the last two swaps I hosted, I had two crafters offer to angel before the swap finished. It proved very useful - I needed two angels for the Birds Birds Birds swap. So go through the Swaps in progress and the sign-ups for swaps and PM the organizer. You may be able to help out right away.

I have been looking around on craftster for a bit for this exact information thanks so much.  I had a rough time in July 2007 (after a great experience up to that time) and have been ashamed to come back and try to get back into Craftster, but I *REALLY* miss crafting for swaps so much, so I am going to keep a patient eye out on the angel's board so that I can get myself back in there

I, too, had some negative feedback issues. I had a few late swaps, and one flake during a not so great time in life. I've gotten back into swapping and I had one swap organizer who was outright rude about my feedback, and a couple of others who just asked me to communicate very well (this was after I angeled a swap). I felt pretty ashamed of my feedback, but I love swapping, so I sucked it up and now everything is back to normal.
