Holy Freakin' Crap indeed! I actually was clutching my face to keep my jaw from dropping off at the escalating stupendousness of craftylittlemonkey's work!!!! And when I got to the monster oven mitt, I think I may have squeaked out loud just a bit.

This is why I love Craftster -- every time I get a bit jaded and think "Oh yeah, the potholders are great. Everyone does nice work.", etc., along comes something like this and resets my entire worldview! Thanks for that!

I have to go lie down now.

Oh my gosh you guys *totally blushing!* I had help! Gatheredthreads printed the octopus image onto fabric for me (I love farming out nifty crafty things I can't quite do myself, makes the project so fun and memorable for me), she does the most amazingly gorgeous work that girl, I was totally inspired by her. The monster was seriously just for fun and goofing off, I didn't even know if I was going to send that for sure... Skullseamstress, did you find the shark jaw key ring inside? Not really one of your themes but I thought what the heck.

Those patchwork pieces are AMAZING! I really love how they look, I have to try that. So far I've just experimented with applique a bit, patchwork is next on my list for sure. And the crochetted ones are wonderful, just lovely. I have some of those tawashi LaughingLark sent me, I love them so much. Beats the disposable sponge option and how!
The potholders I got are still my faves though, sorry guys ! I've been trying to get a Red Ridinghood swap going on here for ages but no luck, I never thought I'd get anything in a swap so what a surprise and how perfect for me.

I really like those 3way patterned potholders.
The Octipi Potholders are awesome--My GD would totally dig the Monster one tho.
OOO I like how the three colours on those others look--kewl patterns! *those scrubbies are so wonderful! Love them & use them to death whenever I get them.

2 lovely watermelon potholders that go with my fruit-themed kitchen, and I'm not sure what you call the flower one, but I think it's to set hot plates on...awesome in any case!    She snuck an extra on me but I'm not complaining
